There were a few updates added or edited on the rules or on the coding part of the program. Here you will be able to see any changes.

Rules / Program Updates

Movement

Astrobees no long have to move in step units (up, down, left, or right). They can move in a diagonal motion.

Scoring

Time score change: 0.25 → 0.05, Inaction Penalty (0g collected): -10, and

Collection Bonus (24g collected): +10

Coding Updates

Letter "T"

Zero Robotics decided to change the waypoints for the letter. The PDF containing the alphabet with waypoints is updated according to the new waypoints for "T". You may need to change your code

Curvy Letter

If you ran your code and saw that your letters became curvy, do not worry. Continue your code, you will NOT have points taken off. It is the systems fault.

Version

When creating a project for the competition be sure to select: Astrobee Spelling Bee (instead of Free Mode)

Rules / Program Updates

Penalties

Time score change: 0.6 → 0.15 and Darkzone penalty change: 0.5 -> 0.22.

Submission

Only one person per team is allowed to submit a code. Only a team-lead can submit the codes in.
